In my life there is a lighthouse,
it overlooks lifes sea.
It's been standing there since I met you, watching over me.
When storms roll in, the waves are high,
through the dark I can see it shine.
The light when it is present, the dark it always hides.
The night seems dark out on the sea.
The day is sometimes drear.
But the light from that old lighthouse it brings me safely home.
I thank the builder of the lighthouse for all it's done for me.
It's not easy to build a lighthouse, but people do it every day.
If we build the house the light must shine.
A friend may be in need.
Let the light shine bright in time of need
and a friend they'll always be .

In so many ways good friends are like onto a lighthouse.
There are times when they light up your whole life.
A good friend is there for you when times seem tough.
He is there to help you down.
There to pick you up.
The light of a friendShip Is the Brightest in the world.
Everyone should have one in there life.
