The lights are hung on every tier.
The angel on top with loving care.
Glass blubs are arranged without any fear.
For they are all placed with loving care.

After all is done the angel is lit.
The lights shine bright from the switch that I hit.
Standing back to look at the beauty of it all.
In the corner it stands, so straight oh so tall.

Color is added, putting gifts underneath.
Then on the wall a large green wreath.
It brightens the room for all inside.
The tree's all lit from side to side.

The tree is ready the candles lit
On the table goes cookies, for jolly St. Nick.
The job all done, I'm glade it was quick.
Now watching the table as the cookies are picked.

Cookies do have a way of disappearing..
